Turning Point

High School | Sundays Beginning september 10 | Youth Room | 7:00p - 8:30p

Turning Point Youth Ministries is open for all 9th-12th grade students. Turning Point Youth Ministry exists to reach students for Christ who reach their peers for Christ. During 2023-2024, our programming is made up of the Live Gathering, Home Groups, and Sunday School. All of which help students experience Jesus in powerful ways, equipping them to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.

Leelanau mission trip | July 14 - 20 | $250

We will be staying at Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, working with Freedom Builders during the day to renovate homes of families needing assistance and exploring the Sleeping Bear Dunes during the evenings. Watch the highlight video of our 2017 trip for a preview of the experience.

CEDAR point |Thursday, june 13 | 4:30A - 12:30A | $40 + money for food

We will depart from church at 4:30A and stop at McDonald’s on the way to the park. Our tickets are good for the amusement park (not the water park) and drinks all day. The Top Thrill 2 ride should be open, along with all the other incredible rides at the park.

Live Gathering

Turning Points meets from 7:00-8:30P in the Youth Room on most Sundays (Home Groups being the exceptions). During our time together, we will play games, worship, dive into Scripture through interactive teaching, and apply God’s Word to our lives through “180 Groups” (Same grade/gender small groups).

Home Groups

Home Groups meet from 7:00-8:30P five times over the course of the year (see the schedule below for specific dates). Students will meet in their 180 Groups at a leader’s or host family’s home. During this time, 180 Groups will engage in different challenges, serve together, hold each other accountable to growth in God’s Word, and have fun together.

Sunday School

9th Grade students will combine with 8th Grade Students as they examine the book of John, seeing who Jesus is and how it impacts their daily lives.

10th-12th Grade students will walk through the history of Christianity for eight weeks, then learn how to look at current events through a Biblical worldview, and wrap up the year with a study of the parable of the prodigal son.

All grades meet from 9:50-10:40A every Sunday from September 17, 2023, through May 3, 2024.
