Turning Point

High School | Sunday | 7:30p - 9:00p

"Turning Point" is open to all high school students. They meet Sunday nights beginning at 7:30p.  Over the course of 90 minutes, they worship together through song, interactive teaching, and small group discussion.  The evening concludes at 9:00p. Turning Point Youth Ministry exists to reach students for Christ who reach their peers for Christ. We do this through 3 key components of discipleship: Worship, Grow, Serve.

Grow Weekend Retreat | October 11-13 | $40

Join us for a local retreat weekend in combination with students of Chapel Pointe designed to grow your relationships with Christ, adult leaders, and your peers. Participants will worship, read God’s Word, create and race derby cars, and discuss the sessions in small groups. Sign up by Sunday, September 29, by clicking on the button below.

We are headed to Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista, Colorado on July 12 -19, 2020 for a spiritual adventure trip. While there, students will engage with God in His creation through hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, visiting hot springs, whitewater rafting, and being challenged at the Brown’s Canyon Adventure Park. The video from our trip to Noah’s Ark in 2016 will give you an idea of what you’ll be experiencing. The first 25 to register will get to choose which vehicle they ride in on the way to Colorado. Registration begins at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 1, and will close on Sunday, October 27, at 11:59pm.

How Can I Worship / Grow / Serve?

  • We worship through song with the praise band, through prayer with peers, and through living out God's Word.

  • We grow with interactive teachings that challenge students to apply God's Word in their lives. Our 1080 Groups discuss the lesson while students grow in relationships with peers.

  • We serve and participate in service projects regularly throughout the year. Service goes beyond completing a project; it includes leading others. Students can serve in the praise band, being mentors and other opportunities. Adults can serve alongside students by being 180 group leaders or chaperons.
