Over 75 high school students and leaders are going to San Antonio, Belize, this summer and we will be sending over 30 middle school students and leaders to Lead Camp. Both trips will be life-changing for many of our students.
In order to help our students attend these trips, we are again having our Church-Wide Auction on Saturday, March 16—mark your calendars now to reserve the morning so you can attend.

We are looking for all new or nearly new items you have access to: gift cards, goods or services you provide or your company could provide, rentals you could offer, tickets to concerts or sporting events, memberships, handcrafted items, or cash donations. Let’s hit the links! All couples are invited to join us for a no-pressure golf outing on Saturday, June 22. We will tee off at 4:30pm at the Pine’s Golf Course. After golf, we’ll join together in the barn on the golf course for supper. Hot Dogs, Chips, and Table Service will all be provided. Please bring along a dish to pass and your own beverage. The Fishing Tournament will take place on Saturday, August 3, at Fisherman’s Landing on Muskegon Lake from 7:00-11:00am. Transportation to the lake is your responsibility. Lunch will immediately follow the tournament.
Fish categories are Bass, Walleye, Pan Fish, Game Fish (which includes Salmon, Trout, Catfish, Pike, and Musky), and Sport Fish (which includes Sheep Head, White Perch, Gar, and Carp). Prizes will be awarded! Everyone participating needs a fishing license (except children under 17 years of age). Fishing equipment will not be provided; please bring your own. Lunch will be provided at the park immediately following the tournament.

On Saturday, January 19, the Youth Ministries are hosting Trivia Night; a night of fun in which teams of eight compete in 10 rounds of trivia while enjoying dinner, dessert, and live entertainment. We will be showing the movie, “The Star,” on FRC’s version of the “big screen” in our Sanctuary on Friday, December 7. “The Star,” tells the story of the very first Christmas.
In “The Star,” a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock, and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

A fun day is planned at the Gilmore Car Museum on Tuesday, October 23. All FRC retirees and their friends are welcome to join us! The Gilmore Car Museum is North America’s largest auto museum with nearly 400 vehicles on display and over 189,000 square feet of exhibit space. The museum’s 90-acre historic campus features numerous vintage structures including a restored and fully-functioning 1941 Silk City Diner, a recreated 1930s Shell Station, six onsite partner museums, and so much more.
The cost is $12.00 per person—payment (checks payable to Fellowship) is due by Sunday, October 14. You will be ordering and paying for your lunch that day at the Blue Moon Diner, located at the museum. Transportation is available on the church bus for the first 28 people who sign up. Once the bus is full, you are still welcome to carpool with others and join us for the day. The bus will leave church at 8:30am and return around 3:00pm. A fun day in Shipshewana is being planned for Thursday, September 20. The fun will begin at 7:30am as we board the bus (or get in your car). We will arrive in Shipshewana around 10:00am, giving you about an hour to shop. We will then enjoy a family-style dinner at 11:00am at the Blue Gate Restaurant. Following dinner, we will see the play, “Stolen.”

All FRC retirees and their friends are welcome to spend the day with us at Meijer Gardens on Monday, July 9. The bus will leave church at 9:00am. Our day will include a tour of the outdoor gardens aboard a tram, lunch in the Meijer Gardens Café, and a narrated tour of the indoor gardens. There will also be time for you to visit the gift shop or see the gardens on your own. We plan to arrive back at church around 3:00pm.
The cost is $15 per person. If you are a member of Meijer Gardens, your cost is $5.00. This cost does not include your lunch. You will order off the menu and pay that on your own.

The story beautifully illustrates that nobody is ever too far from God’s love -- or too far from an eternal home in Heaven.

Free Babysitting - That's right! You can enjoy a night out on us! The New Life Youth Ministry will be babysitting your children on Saturday, February 10, from 5:30-9:00pm.
