A fun day in Shipshewana is being planned for Thursday, September 20. The fun will begin at 7:30am as we board the bus (or get in your car). We will arrive in Shipshewana around 10:00am, giving you about an hour to shop. We will then enjoy a family-style dinner at 11:00am at the Blue Gate Restaurant. Following dinner, we will see the play, “Stolen.”
"A small Pennsylvania community is shaken when the infant son of a prominent Amish family is kidnapped. As accusations fly and everyone comes under suspicion, a quirky, bumbling detective takes on the case. With no real leads and frustrations mounting, the case goes cold. Twenty years later...the town is thrown into turmoil again when the case is re-opened.”
Options for stops after the play may include E and S Sales, Yoder’s Department Store, and/or Ice Cream.
Bus transportation will be available to the first 27 people who sign up. You may also choose to drive yourself if you prefer. The cost is $55 per person (no cost difference if you ride the bus or provide your own transportation). Sign up on the sheet located on the Adult Activities Bulletin Board. Payment (checks payable to Fellowship) should be placed in the mailbox of Linda Folkert. Don’t delay in signing up—we have a limited number of play tickets.
