Cardio and Core Class (formerly Hour of Power)
Cardio and Core Class (formerly Hour of Power) will meet from January 8-March 26, 2018, in the gym from 7:00-8:00pm. This class, led by Terri Avink, focuses on weight training, strength training, a variety of cardiovascular activities, and incorporates a bunch of fun. The cost is $3.00 per session. Advance sign-up is not necessary--come every week or whenever you can. Bring along a mat, weights, and your water bottle. Friends are more than welcome!
Are you looking for a fun activity that doesn't require any particular amount of skill? Then our bowling league just might be what you are looking for! We meet once a month for a relaxed, fun-filled evening of fellowship (and maybe a few strikes). The cost per person/per time is $11.00. The dates for the upcoming season are: September 23, October 21, November 18, December 16, January 13, February 10, March 10, and May 5.
All men over the age of 18 are welcome to play "pick-up basketball" every Thursday night in our Gym beginning at 8:15pm. No sign-up necessary; hope to see you there!
A dedicated group of both men and women from FRC and many others from the community meet every Monday and Friday at 9:00am for some exciting games of Pickleball. A smaller group meets on Thursdays at 1:00pm. No sign-up in necessary; new members are welcome to join at any time.
This is FRC’s group of Red Hatters (women over the age of 50). They have a blast doing all kinds of fun and crazy events. Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details on their upcoming activities.
REFIT Dance Fitness
REFIT Dance Fitness will be offered this fall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30am. A donation of $3.00-5.00 per session is requested. Childcare is not available.
Yak and Yarn
There are many needs in our community for warm mittens, hats, scarves, shawls and sweaters. With donated yarn, needles and patterns, this group has been able to knit and crochet hundreds of articles for the needy. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm in the FRC Conference Room.
