Below is a listing of groups that meet at FRC throughout the year.

Cardio and Core Class

The Cardio and Core Fitness Group will begin their winter session on January 7. This group, led by Terri Avink, meets every Monday and Thursday from 7:00-8:00pm in the gym—come when you can. Participating in this fitness group is a great way to increase your cardio and core strength, your conditioning, and your stamina. Bring along a mat, a water bottle, and hand weights to each class. The cost is $3.00 per session. Friends are always welcome!

Co-Ed Bowling

Our Co-Ed Bowling League begins on Saturday, September 15.  We bowl once per month at Hudsonville Lanes from 8:00-10:00pm.  The cost is $11.00 per person/per time.

Men's Basketball

All men over the age of 18 are welcome to play "pick-up basketball" every Thursday night in our Gym beginning at 8:15pm.  No sign-up necessary; hope to see you there!

A dedicated group of both men and women from FRC and many others from the community meet every Monday and Friday at 9:00am for some exciting games of Pickleball.  A smaller group meets on Thursdays at 1:00pm.  No sign-up in necessary; new members are welcome to join at any time.  During the months of May-September, this group plays at the Hudsonville ECC.

This is FRC’s group of Red Hatters (women over the age of 50). They have a blast doing all kinds of fun and crazy events.  Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details on their upcoming activities.

Senior Game Days

Do you like to play games? Card games? Board games? Join a group of our seniors on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 1:30-4:00pm. In August, they will meet on the 1st and the 15th. This group not only has a great time playing the games, but also socializing and having great conversations. Can’t make it every time? No problem. Just come when you can. If you know for sure you will attend, please sign up on the sheet located on the Adult Activities Bulletin Board. This helps us know how many tables to set up. But, even if you didn’t sign up and can come—do so!

Yak and Yarn

We have a dedicated group of ladies who make beautiful hand-knitted and crocheted items for those in need. They make scarves and mittens for those who need to stay warm in the winter. Beautiful blankets and sweaters for tiny babies are made for Lakeshore Pregnancy Center or the Family Life Center. If you knit or crochet, please consider joining this group. The handiwork is done on your own at home. But, they meet once a month to pray for those who will receive their items and to exchange patterns, receive yarn, etc. They meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm in the Music Room.
