Below is a listing of groups that meet at FRC throughout the year.
Are you looking for a fun activity that doesn't require any particular amount of skill? Then our bowling league just might be what you are looking for! We meet once a month for a relaxed, fun-filled evening of fellowship (and maybe a few strikes). The cost per person/per time is $11.00. The dates for the upcoming season are: September 23, October 21, November 18, December 16, January 13, February 10, March 10, and May 5. Sign-up at church or by calling 669-1213.
Hour of Power
The Hour of Power Fitness Group for women will begin on Monday, September 18, at 7:00pm. This group will then meet every Monday and Thursday--come when you can. Participating in this fitness group is a great way to increase your cardio and core strength, your conditioning, and your stamina. Each class is designed to address different areas of the body so one can achieve a complete workout including every set of muscles. Bring along a mat, a water bottle, and hand weights to each class. The cost is $3.00 per session. Bring a friend and join in a great time of both exercise and fellowship with other women.
All men over the age of 18 are welcome to play "pick-up basketball" every Thursday night in our Gym beginning at 8:15pm. No sign-up necessary; hope to see you there!
A dedicated group of both men and women from FRC and many others from the community meet every Monday and Friday at 9:00am for some exciting games of Pickleball. During the summer months, they play at the Hudsonville Early Childhood Center. Beginning on October 2, they will play in the FRC gym.
This is FRC’s group of Red Hatters (women over the age of 50). They have a blast doing all kinds of fun and crazy events. Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details on their upcoming activities.
REFIT Dance Fitness
REFIT Dance Fitness will be offered this fall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30am. A donation of $3.00-5.00 per session is requested. We are hoping to offer babysitting for small children during this time as well; a fee will be charged to those using the babysitting service.
Yak and Yarn
There are many needs in our community for warm mittens, hats, scarves, shawls and sweaters. With donated yarn, needles and patterns, this group has been able to knit and crochet hundreds of articles for the needy. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm in the FRC Conference Room.
