Faith Smit underwent a right shoulder replacement on Monday, December 15, at U of M Health West/Metro Hospital. She anticipates a 2-day hospitalization.
Ron Phillips (Friend at Home) returned to the Oaks of Byron Center on Tuesday, December 16, following a hospitalization and treatment in the ICU for breathing complications.

Deb Karsten’s recent Pet Scan confirmed that the cancer has regressed, the small lesions are gone, and a larger lesion has shrunk in size. Praise the Lord! She will take a three-month break from treatments allowing her organs a healing time of reprieve. A CT Scan has been scheduled for mid-January to evaluate her status.
Roger Elders' recent angiogram revealed limited details in relation to past experiences with internal bleeding. He will now undergo a CT scan on Friday, December 20.
Tom Beltman returned home from a lengthy hospitalization on Friday, December 12. Praise the Lord! Please pray for ongoing healing and increased strength as he recovers from Guillain Barre Syndrome.
Bev Essenburg began five consecutive days of radiation treatments on Thursday, December 11, to address a portion of cancer that did not respond to an earlier regimen. Additionally, she is continuing maintenance therapy every third Monday.

Carol Graham was admitted to Trinity Health St. Mary’s on Sunday, November 30, on account of passing blood in her nephrostomy bag. She underwent surgery on Tuesday, December 2, to replace the kidney drainage tubes and returned home on Wednesday, December 3. Please pray for increased healing and management of pain.
Mary Bates has been diagnosed with Shingles. Please pray for prompt healing and management of pain.
Pete Meurer (regular attendee) was admitted to the ICU of Holland Hospital on Thursday, November 20. He is receiving care and treatment for fluid retention in his legs. Additionally, he has been undergoing six weeks of home-based care following an earlier hospitalization for a staph infection.
Ron Borst completed his latest round of radiation treatments for MALT Lymphoma on Wednesday, November 5. He will undergo a scan in February to determine the effectiveness of the treatments.
Lori Roon suffered a severe fall on Monday, October 27, breaking both of her ankles. Please pray for a clear course of treatment and healing as she consults with an orthopedic doctor.
