Amy Hower is recovering at home following the donation of her kidney to her son, Jonah.
Carrol Granzo is recovering at home following a successful lower back fusion on Tuesday, August 19, at Trinity Health/St. Mary’s; she is experiencing full relief from her leg pain.
Ron Borst completed his treatments for Malt Lymphoma in April. A recent scan revealed that the cancer remains. Please pray for a clear course of treatment as he consults with his oncologist.
Brady Bohl (5-year-old son of Zach and Katie) had his treatment port surgically removed on Friday, August 22. Please pray for successful surgery—and continue to praise the Lord for healing Brady.
Judy Benninger (Friend at Home) returned to the Oaks at Jamestown on Wednesday, August 20, following a hospitalization and care for two recent falls.

Holly Raglin consulted with her hand specialist on Tuesday, August 12. She will remain under restrictions for another 3 weeks as the injury continues to heal.
Carolyn Schafer, regular attendee, was found to have brain cancer in addition to cancer found in her lungs and esophagus. She has decided to discontinue any treatments. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen Carolyn and Jim each day with peace and assurance.
Jerry Emelander suffered a fall on Wednesday, July 30, breaking his femur bone. He underwent surgery on Thursday, July 31, at Corewell Butterworth.
Cornella Petroelje (Friend at Home) suffered a fall on Tuesday, July 29, fracturing her hip. She was transferred to Corewell Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Center—Leffingwell on Wednesday, July 30, for care and treatment.
Ann Whitmyer underwent successful surgery on Monday, July 28, at U of M Health West; doctors were able to remove the non-cancerous tumor in its entirety. She returned home on Tuesday, July 29, to continue her recovery.
Linda Koning experienced a fall on June 12. She underwent an MRI of her pelvis on July 18 and an MRI of her lower back on July 21. Doctors discovered two pelvic fractures; fortunately, they are healing well. However, Linda was also diagnosed with spinal stenosis. She will consult with her doctor regarding a plan on treatment in mid-August.
Carol Graham will undergo another series of injections and a pain block on Monday, August 4, in relation to concerns with her bladder and kidneys.
Sandy Riksen received emergent care at Zeeland Community Hospital on Thursday, July 24, following a fall at home. She experienced a laceration to her scalp as well as bruising and chest pain. Fortunately, a CT scan revealed no broken bones. Please pray for ongoing management of pain as she recovers at home.
Bev Essenburg will undergo a CT scan on Monday, August 4, to determine the progress of her treatments. Her third round of chemo will take place on Monday, August 11.
Sally Bekkering underwent a right knee replacement on Thursday, July 31, at Holland Community Hospital. Please pray for successful surgery and healing.
Don Mulder’s oncological consultation determined that his stage 4 cancer is incurable. He is expected to become a resident of the Manor at Sunset on Wednesday, July 30; he will be receiving hospice care.
