Mara Stob underwent outpatient knee surgery on Monday, April 13. Doctors attached an artificial ligament to correctly position of her kneecap.

Sister-in-Christ

A Sister-in-Christ is recovering well from a double mastectomy on March 26.  The pathology report revealed that all lymph nodes were clear. Praise the Lord!

Gerene Scholten

Gerene Scholten became a resident of Maplewood at American House in Jenison on Thursday, April 2.

Deb Karsten

Deb Karsten underwent a routine CT scan on Tuesday, April 7, to evaluate the progress of her ongoing cancer treatments; results are pending.  Her next treatment will be April 29.

Belle Kooman

Belle Kooman (Friend at Home) will undergo a stress test at Trinity Health/St. Mary’s on Wednesday, April 15.  Please pray for encouraging results and a clear course of treatment.

Harold Zwyghuizen

Harold Zwyghuizen returned home on Friday, April 10, following post-surgical rehabilitative care.  Please pray for increased strength and healing.

Jude Miller

Jude Miller (newborn son of Nick and Lauren) was released from the DeVos Children's Hospital after 21 days of care following his premature birth on March 24.  Please pray for increased strength, development, and growth.

Jodi VanWienen

Jodi VanWienen will consult with a spinal surgeon on Thursday, April 2, regarding increasing pain with her sciatica.  Please pray for a clear course of care and treatment.

Jan Elling

Jan Elling returned home from the hospital on Saturday, March 28, following surgery on March 23 for spinal stenosis.  Please pray for increased freedom from both pain and discomfort.

Molly Brouwer

Molly Brouwer (7-year-old daughter of Kirk and Emma) suffered a broken foot on Tuesday, March 24.  She is recovering at home with a cast.

Ron Carlon

Ron Carlon’s epidural steroid injection was rescheduled and took place on Friday, March 13.  Please pray for increased management of pain in relation to his diagnosis of Shingles.

Sandy Snyder

Sandy Snyder has been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis—an incurable disease that causes complications in the functioning of the lungs.  Please pray for improved breathing and strength.

Bev Essenburg

Bev Essenburg underwent her first immunotherapy treatment on Thursday, March 12.

Carol Graham

Carol Graham consulted with her doctors in Ann Arbor on March 6 and 7 regarding post-surgical complications. Please pray for increased strength and healing.

Carrol Granzo

Carrol Granzo returned home from rehabilitative care at the Laurels on Wednesday, February 25, following surgery for a spinal fusion on Monday, February 9.

Sara Karel

Sara Karel’s pathology report revealed a very small amount of cancer in one of the two removed lymph nodes following her mastectomy on Monday, February 2. Following her recovery, she will consult with her radiologist on March 3 to determine if radiation treatments are necessary.

Brother-in-Christ

A brother-in-Christ consulted with his oncologist on Tuesday, February 10, regarding a spot on a lymph node following surgery for testicular cancer. Doctors believe radiation treatments could effectively treat the lymph node. This brother will undergo additional scans in two weeks; he will then consult with his oncologist in early March regarding the best course of treatment.

Jerry Huttenga is recovering at home after receiving a pacemaker and treatment for breathing complications. He underwent additional testing January 22 and 23 to determine the cause of his severe fatigue.

Tom Beltman returned home from a lengthy hospitalization on Friday, December 12. Praise the Lord! Please pray for ongoing healing and increased strength as he recovers from Guillain Barre Syndrome.
