Roger Engelsman had stitches removed from his left hand on Thursday, August 27, following extensive surgery for a table-saw accident.  He is continuing with PT to increase his hand strength and movement.

Stefani Shupe

Stefani Shupe has been consulting with doctors regarding extreme abdominal pain.  Please pray for management of pain and patience as a surgical date is pending.

Judy Mejeur

Judy Mejeur’s pending back surgery has been postponed.  Please pray for patience and pain management as additional tests are being required.

Dawn Rotman

Dawn Rotman underwent outpatient surgery on her fractured right wrist on Wednesday, August 26.  Please pray for successful surgery and prompt healing.

Marilyn Sturm

Marilyn Sturm was admitted to the hospital on August 5 with low blood pressure. Please be in prayer for healing, as she was able to return home on Saturday, August 8. 

Sara Hower

Sara Hower completed her initial course of 10 radiation treatments in an effort to address her recent diagnosis of breast cancer as well as the presence of cancer in her right hip.  She anticipates beginning a new form of drug therapy in the near future.

Karla Veldink

Karla Veldink underwent an outpatient total left hip replacement on Tuesday, July 28, at Trinity Health/St. Mary's Hospital.

Faith Smit

Faith Smit underwent outpatient surgery on Thursday, July 16, at the OAM Surgical Center.  Doctors repositioned the left ulnar nerve while also performed carpal tunnel surgery on her left wrist.

Florence Schreur

Florence Schreur (Friend at Home) was transferred from Mary Free Bed to her home at American House on Monday, June 22, following treatment and care for inoperable blood clots.

Skip Sartor

Skip Sartor continues to receive chemotherapy for chronic Lymphoma.  He is also dealing with the symptoms of high blood pressure and diabetes.

Joel Bos

Joel Bos experienced a stroke in his right eye on Sunday, May 31, impairing much of the vision in that eye.  Please pray for healing and visual restoration.

Ron Carlon

Ron Carlon underwent an ablation on Friday, June 5.  Please pray for diminished pain and discomfort.

A Wayward Son

A wayward son has abandoned his faith, the Gospel, and Christ—actively living his life in opposition to the Lord.  Please pray for the Holy Spirit to convict his heart of his need for Jesus—surrendering his life in full to the shed blood of Christ.

Mary Burgess

Mary Burgess’ latest CT scan confirmed that her tumors are continuing to shrink. Praise the Lord!

Gerene Scholten became a resident of Maplewood at American House in Jenison on Thursday, April 2.

Deb Karsten

Deb Karsten underwent a routine CT scan on Tuesday, April 7, to evaluate the progress of her ongoing cancer treatments; results are pending.  Her next treatment was April 29.

Sandy Snyder

Sandy Snyder has been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis—an incurable disease that causes complications in the functioning of the lungs.  Please pray for improved breathing and strength.

Bev Essenburg

Bev Essenburg underwent her first immunotherapy treatment on Thursday, March 12.

Sara Karel

Sara Karel’s pathology report revealed a very small amount of cancer in one of the two removed lymph nodes following her mastectomy on Monday, February 2. Following her recovery, she will consult with her radiologist on March 3 to determine if radiation treatments are necessary.
