Kathie Nagelkirk underwent the first of two eye surgeries on Monday, June 12. Doctors placed an ex-press shunt in the left eye to drain fluid and maintain proper pressure. Please pray for ongoing healing.
Steve and April Palmbos (Jack, Casey, Charlie and Jessie) are serving in Malawi, Africa. Please continue to bless them through prayer as they minister to refugees.
Arie VanderHeide was informed that he has high-grade cancer cells in one of his kidneys. Doctors will convene on Friday, July 14, to determine next steps in care. Please pray for healing, wisdom, and discernment in this process.

Jordan Odehnal arrived in Juneau, Alaska, on Sunday, May 21. Jordan is serving the community and participating in discipleship training with Campus Crusade for Christ. He will be in Alaska for 10 weeks.
Liam Han, South Korean foreign exchange student of John and Diane Schwartz, was ordered to report for mandatory military service in South Korea. After four years in West Michigan, Liam returned to Korea on Thursday, May 11; he reported for mandatory conscription on May 23.

Bart Bylsma underwent colon cancer surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, May 3. He has returned home. However, doctors discovered the presence of significant cancer in the abdomen. Additional consultation is pending for next steps in care.
Sue Wynsma underwent consultation with her doctor on Tuesday, May 2, due to significant ongoing vision issues. Doctors have begun a regiment of shots in one eye to address the concerns.

Steve Jurgens underwent a routine MRI on Monday, March 20, to update the condition of a brain tumor. Results have confirmed no change in the tumor over the last two years - praise God!
Josh Hower underwent consultation with a liver specialist in Ann Arbor; this consultation follows a recent diagnosis of cirrhosis of the liver. Doctors have scheduled a liver biopsy as the next step in care. In addition, doctors are now recommending a heart transplant as an avenue to improve the condition of the liver. Additionally, Josh is undergoing a sleep study to evaluate his oxygen absorption rate; doctors are concerned that this level is low while both active and at rest.
