Memorial Day Parade

The weather was beautiful for this year's Memorial Day Parade. We had a great time honoring all who sacrificed so we can enjoy the freedoms we have! Thanks to everyone who walked with us and distributed Tootsie Rolls! A huge thank you to Dave Feenstra and Jeff Massom for driving the van and bus!

Youth Ministry Transitions

As the Youth Ministry Year comes to a close, we celebrated two meaningful transitions. Each offered a time of prayer for what’s ahead and reflection on what God has done.

First, we recognized our 8th graders as they prepare to move from middle school into high school. They were encouraged and prayed over as they stepped into this next chapter.

Additionally, we honored our graduating seniors with a special send-off. Seniors were given the opportunity to share advice, highlights from their years, and testify to God’s faithfulness. We also looked ahead by affirming our juniors, who will begin stepping into leadership roles next year.

Graduation Sunday

At both services on Sunday, May 18, we celebrated our 2025 graduates. During the 8:30A service, graduates were invited on stage to be recognized, share their favorite memory, and be prayed over. At the 10:30A service, they were honored through a graduation video featuring audio recorded by their parents. Between services, there was a cake reception and time to personally congratulate the graduates.

Grandparenting in the Wild

On May 7, Pastor Tim and Brian Boom led a grandparenting event in the Fellowship Hall. It was an opportunity to talk about both the challenges and opportunities that come with loving and discipling grandkids. Attendees received cookies, coffee, and a free book! Look for the next opportunity in the fall!

Tracing His Steps: A Holy Week Hunt

Throughout the week leading up to Easter, families had the opportunity to read Scripture and solve clues leading them to the location of three nails. Many families took on the challenge, and several successfully found the location of the nails. Still, only the first to do so received the prize—a gift card to Celebration Cinema, which was good for a four-pack of movie tickets to see King of Kings.
