Wonder Junction VBS

Wonder Junction VBS was an amazing week for the kids from Fellowship and so many kids from around West Michigan. We had over 850 kids attending from 479 families. Eighty percent of those families were visitors to Fellowship and 76 families did not list a church home. What a great opportunity for us to share Jesus with those who might not know Him.

During the week, we learned about the life of Jesus. We learned that He was the Creator, Who came to earth as a baby, giving up His perfect life in heaven. We also learned that He was a normal child - except He never sinned! And we learned about His life as an adult, how He taught about God, did MANY miracles, and died on the cross for our sins. The best part of the week was learning that Jesus rose from the grave and is waiting for all who believe in Him to join Him one day in heaven.

Next year's VBS will be June 15-18. Save the dates now and plan to attend another week of VBS, either as one of the kids or as a volunteer.

Eucharisteo Gathering

At our Spring Eucharisteo Women’s Gathering, we enjoyed a lovely brunch and great time of fellowship. After a message on the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ robe, we had an open, interactive time with our speaker on labels given to us as widows, divorced, and/or never married vs. finding and knowing our identity solely in Jesus. We will have another Gathering this Fall.

Annual Clay Shoot

Our Annual Clay Shoot was Saturday, May 31. It was a beautiful morning, and we had lots of high scores! In first place was Kurt Kloostra. There was a tie for second place between Caleb Nykamp and Tim VanderKolk. In third place was Brendan Schwenk. They all won Cabela’s gift cards. Thank you to everyone who came out to share donuts, fellowship, and a great time!
