Ally is responsible for the Middle School Youth Ministry. Ally has been employed at Fellowship since August of 2022. Ally is a graduate of Hudsonville High School and Calvin College. She is married to her husband, Jon, who also serves as a volunteer in the Middle School Youth Ministry. She loves working with middle schoolers because it’s an age where there is so much uncertainty that the certainty of Christ’s love can bring so much peace and hope. Ally and Jon have one son, Miles, who was born in December of 2023, and a hunting dog named Dunkin, after her love of Dunkin Donuts coffee. Ally enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking, fly-fishing, weight lifting, and playing lacrosse. She is also the head coach for the Hudsonville High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse team and spends time teaching students all things lacrosse.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

From middle school all the way through adulthood, we live in a world that puts pressure on us to consider what others may think about us. I want students to see that even in areas I may fail or fall short, I don’t need to worry what others think because I have a Savior who is perfect and strong, especially when I am not, and that’s worth sharing!
